Fluidity has been rewarded, the port of Marseille Fos is entering into a growth dynamic

The Port of Marseille Fos handled 38 million tonnes (MT) of cargo between January and June 2022, as in the first half of 2021. Overall stability, obscuring trends by segment. Manufactured goods are up sharply: new container record, significant growth for trailers. Hydrocarbons are stable: crude and refined oil traffic are down, offset by the very sharp increase in gas traffic. Dry bulk continued to fall, weighed down by an unfavourable economic situation. Regarding passengers, the first half of 2022 was marked by the resumption of regular lines, with over 480,000 ferry passengers, i.e. up 21% compared to the same period in 2019.
