In a difficult context, the Port of Marseille Fos recorded overall traffic of 72 million tonnes, for more than 9,000 calls. General cargo saw a 12 % fall in volume and has declined across all segments. Dry bulk fell by 24 % due to the stoppage of one of ArcelorMittal’s blast furnaces and a decline in European demand for steel. Bulk liquids remained stable compared to the previous year, driven by the momentum of crude imports.
